Getting Disappointed with My Own Youth Generation

A geek couldn't get the chance to make some people understand easily the point that he wants to get to. For me, being a geek is really tough. You may be the smartest person in town but you're also the one who is the most difficult to understand. I was assigned to report in computer class one time and believe me, it was the hardest thing that I have done in my four years in high school. My teacher told me to report anything related to the web. Of course, being the type of person that I was, I wanted to present something technical, something that my friends didn't have any knowledge about. What was the use of being a geek when you can't show what you know right. When I started to report on getting web traffic information, I just got a full view on the kind of people that were surrounding me. I saw the youth of today who didn't seem to be interested on my report and didn't care if the failed the quiz that I had to give after (which was something regularly done by all the reporters).
