Numerous countries depend a lot on the exchange of goods and services from one country to another. Some of these countries whom depend a lot on exports, and imports are the countries that are on the long road to development. These countries face a lot of political instability, they go through hunger strikes and there are also countless cases of unemployment. Another thing that is crippling these countries is poverty, and that is why the idea of Fairtrade came along. This was to ensure that when the countries that were already developed wanted to buy goods, especially agricultural products like tea or coffee, then they could in turn buy them is such a price that is going to be a benefit to the country. What I am trying to say is that when it came to buying the produce, they would buy them at a higher price that would be a profit and an advantage to the developing country. It would also act as a motivating factor. Many leader who do not support fair trade say that fairtrade is stunting the growth of such nations, that instead of being lenient to them, they should make it hard so that they can get a way to move from developing to developed.
